Ministry of Corporate Affairs extends AOC-4 filing due date up to 31st May 2018

New Delhi, May 1 (KNN) The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has extended the last date of filing of AOC-4 XBRL E-Forms using Ind AS under the Companies Act, 2013 without additional fees.

The last date for filing the AOC-4 XBRL e-forms is 31 May, 2018, notification said.

According to an official notification, “upon deliberate consideration of requests received from various stakeholders for extending the last date of filing AOC-4 XBRL E-Forms using Ind AS under the Companies Act, 2013, it has been decided to extend the last date for filing AOC-4 XBRL.”

Further it said that the date has been extended for all eligible companies required to prepare or voluntarily prepare their financial statement in accordance with companies (Indian Accounting Standards) Rules, 2015 for the financial year 2016-17, without additional fees till 31st May, 2018.

AOC-4 is a digital form used for filing financial statements with the registrar of companies under section 137 of the act.

Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) means a standardized language for communication in electronic form to express, report or file financial information by the companies under the act. (KNN/YV)
