Ministry of Corporate Affairs introduces Lifetime Achievement Award and National CSR Award

New Delhi, May 5 (KNN) The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India has decided to institute two new awards to recognize the contribution made by companies in the area of Corporate Social Responsibly (CSR).

The two new awards are under the category of ‘Lifetime achievement’ and ‘National CSR’ award.

This is done with the aim to encourage CSR activities and involvement in the States.

The selection procedure for the award involves nomination at the state level followed by verification and feedback on the nominated CSR projects in the respective district/area of implementation.

Also every State government is asked to nominate a company or an eminent corporate that has been contributing significantly in the field of CSR in the region. (KNN/ DA)
