New Delhi, Sept 23 (KNN) The Defence Ministry has invited applications from all types of Defence industries for Raksha Mantri's Awards for Excellence in Defence & Aerospace Sector.

The last date of filing applications is September 29, 2022 and large scale industries, MSMEs and startups are encouraged to apply for the various categories of RM Awards.

The Raksha Mantri’s Awards will be awarded every year under 03 major categories viz. Indigenization, Innovation & Exports.

The core objectives, modality of selection for the Awards, including eligibility conditions, assessment parameters and selection methodology are given in the online Portal for processing of applications for the Awards.   

It is also expected to provide a boost to export potential of Indian defence industry, especially for MSME and Startup firms, by publicizing their outstanding achievements at the global level.

Awards are also aimed at encouraging Indian industries to invest in technology and product innovations to address capability gaps of Defence Forces and also to inculcate the culture and spirit of innovation. 

The application must go through online mode at https://rmawards.ddpmod.gov.in.
