MP to set up common facility centres in industrial clusters

Indore, Feb 1 (KNN) In a bid to address oft repeated grievances of enterprises in the area, the Madhya Pradesh government is planning to build and improve its industrial township by setting up common facility centres in each of the industrial clusters. 

MP Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam (MPAKVN) will soon establish common facility centres in industrial clusters such as apparel cluster, pharma-herbal cluster and namkeen cluster in Bijeypur and Sukhliya villages of Indore district.

Towards this, the state government is inviting bids from consultants for preparation of detailed project report.

MPAKVN a government undertaking firm has taken major steps towards promoting industrialisation in the state by identifying growth centres, setting up, promoting and nurturing industrial hubs and inviting investors.

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), has adopted the cluster development approach as a key strategy for enhancing the productivity and competitiveness as well as capacity building of MSEs and their collectives in the country. (KNN Bureau)
