MSME development centre to provide skill development to unemployed youth

Trichy, May 19 (KNN) With a view to provide the jobs to unemployed youth of the country, The MSME Development Institute would conduct a skill development training programme on gold appraisal in the Trichy from May 23 to June 3.

As per the vision of the programme, those undergoing the training in gold appraisal could get job in nationalised banks or cooperative banks as gold appraisers or take up self-employment.

As per the release, practical training would be provided and participants would be issued certificates by the MSME Development Institute, a government agency. All those who have completed 18 years can undergo the training. There will be no minimum educational qualification.

Institute kept the training fee low which would be Rs. 6,000 and 50 per cent concession will be offered to candidates from SC/ST and people with disabilities. The training programme will be held at the Tiruchi Gold Jewellers Association building. (KNN Bureau)
