MSME Min discusses financing for Solar Charkha Model with SIDBI

New Delhi, Sept 18 (KNN) The newly inducted Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh recently met the officials of the Small Industries Development Bank of india (SIDBI), to discuss the solar charkha model.

The Minister met the SIDBI Chairman and DMD and explained to him the numerous opportunities that the solar charkha would provide both in terms of productivity as well as in terms of employment generation.  

The Minister also held discussions on the entrepreneurial amino acid model, which further opens up opportunities for the micro, small and medium enterprises sector.

Earlier in 2016, the government announced loan scheme for entrepreneurs taking up solar charkha for production.
