MSME Min Giriraj Singh assures all kind of support and help to knitwear sector in Tirupur

New Delhi, May 15 (KNN) With a view to address issues of people engaged in knitwear sector near Tirupur, Union MSME Minister Giriraj Singh assured to lend all kind of help and support to them.

Issues being faced by them are many like restoration of duty drawback rate, issues related to state levies and many more.

The Minister gave the assurance during a meeting Tirupur Exporters Association President, Raja M Shanmugham had with Singh in the national capital.

TEA President said that the industry also sought rebate on state levies and enhancement of Interest Equalization incentive from three per cent to five per cent, including GST related issues.

Further, he said that the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Chairman, Ravindranath, who was also present at the meeting, mentioned about the NSIC support for imparting skill training to the workers.
