National Career Services portal upgraded with more user friendly features

New Delhi, Sep 2 (KNN) National Career Service (NCS) portal, a government-run online job platform has now been upgraded with more new features to make the portal more user friendly.

NCS has been constantly upgrading its services and has introduced many new features on its portal from simplifying the process of registration to introducing feedback module. It has now made NCS Mobile App for Android users which can be downloaded from the Play Store.

It has also partnered with prestigious institutes and now has job seekers from institutes like NITS, IIIT's etc.

Besides simplifying employer's registration process, employer rating module has been created, featuring best rated employers on NCS Home Page.

Also, process for shortlisting of candidates has been simplified with additional filters for shortlisting candidate on the basis of college/university and location. Contact details of the shortlisted candidates is now available to the employers module.

In addition to above new features, employers can record their NCS experience in the recently introduced feedback module and can also send interview invite to jobseekers directly from the portal and the jobseeker' response (Accept/Reject) or request for slot change is available to the employers.

Above all, automated mails are sent to all employers for job fair organized in their district.

The main objective of the NCS is to bring together job seekers and employers with an aim to provide the employers with suitable candidates. From entry-level workers to mid management level executives, NCS enables employers to find the right fit for their organization through a country-wide database of over 1crore candidates.

The employers can register through a simple registration process and gain access to a large workforce. With the improved portal the employers can search suitable candidates, send interview invites, participate in events and job fairs etc.

National Career Service (NCS) Portal (www.ncs.gov.in) is an initiative by the Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) Government of India.

The Ministry has requested the employers to get registered on the NCS Portal and start posting the vacancies. Registration and Services on the portal are free of cost.

It has also requested for feedback and suggestion for improving the NCS services on feedback.dget@nic.in
