National Consultation on 'Review of TVET Policy in India'

New Delhi, Feb 24 (KNN)  The Institute of Applied Manpower Research (IAMR) is organising a National Consultation to review the policy of training and vocational education and training (TVET) policy in the country and plan future course of action.
 
The event organised in collaboration with UNESCO will be held here tomorrow.
 
“This consultation is part of the process of review of India’s TVET system and of engaging in a policy dialogue on its future development, to support UNESCO’s initiative for TVET policy and reform in South Asia sub-region,” said a notice.
 
The consultation will discuss the report ‘Review of TVET Policy in India’ prepared by the IAMR and examine the TVET policies and systems in India in order to identify various options available and strategies for improving these policies and systems to make them more efficient and effective.  (KNN/ES)
