National Skill Corporation, IRMA unite to boost startup growth in rural India

Ahmedabad, Aug 3 (KNN) The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has partnered with the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) to boost startup growth amongst underserved communities in Rural India.

The agreement was signed by Ved Mani Tiwari, Chief Operating Officer and Officiating CEO, NSDC and Dr. Umakant Dash, Director, IRMA in Anand, Gujarat.

The two partners through this collaboration will focus on knowledge-sharing for technology trends, industry insights, and more, through joint programmes, events and thought leadership sessions, among others.

Both the institutes will share their networking and technical capabilities for conducting joint research on various topics during this collaboration.

Speaking about the collaboration, Ved Mani Tiwari, COO and Officiating CEO, NSDC, said, “In accordance with the objective of making India the Skill Capital of the World, NSDC has partnered with IRMA, a leading educational and research institution, to enhance the capacities and skills among entrepreneurs enabling them to adapt to the rapidly changing competitive environment.”
