NIESBUD conducting workshop on international lean manufacturing course

New Delhi, June 22 (KNN) For the implementation of lean management and development of lean thinking network, the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) and EnKing International Technical Academy in association with ReXchange are organising international lean manufacturing practitioner certificate course.

The programme designed for the lean champions, change managers and improvement project facilitators and leaders is scheduled from June 29 to July 3, 2015 at NIESBUD campus in Noida.

The five day workshop is a part of India - Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness Program under Asia Lean Manufacturing Awareness Series.

The course includes national and international industries case studies of successful lean implementations. It covers the topics such as what is lean thinking; process improvement; capability development; implementation pathways and strategy, planning and final assessment.

The workshop will help participants in developing skills to successfully manage an improvement program across their organization; understanding the key elements for achieving sustainable and continuous improvement; seeing how other organizations have successfully applied lean through case studies; understanding the required behaviours, role and facilitation skills of lean leaders that will engage, align and empower your team in the improvement program and work-based projects and learning about the foundation improvement tools and techniques for flow and quality and how they are selected and applied to achieve the best results and outcomes.

The course will enable the participants to follow the lean transformation model step-by-step through the five dimensions that will result in value creation and improved performance.

There will be detailed expert lectures on lean manufacturing techniques approved by MSME DC scheme. A certificate exam will be conducted at the end of the course. (KNN/ST)
