New Delhi, Jul 11 (KNN) National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) has developed a job portal that will help job seekers develop and hone their skills while the employers can get a common platform for finding skilled manpower.

The government expects the unemployed youth to take advantage of the platform. “It is expected that all the persons so far trained by different organisations of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise and who are still looking for jobs, would at least register on the website,” an official statement said.

The site www.niesbudnaukri.com is a common platform for prospective employers and employees. It would facilitate easy registration for all the prospective employees with their detailed background so that the prospective employer would find it easy to search their requirement on the web portal, it said.

Trainees and employees will get certain benefits from the portal such as opportunity to update their profile on niesbudnaukri portal without any charge, facility of counselling from NIESBUD, applying in multiple companies at one time and improving their skill if they require.

It will also help employers to get skilled persons from different sectors, accessing job seekers in different geographical locations, shortlisting fresher for the entry level jobs and hiring young trained persons belonging to the rural areas.

The portal can help NIESBUD in keeping a tab on all the activities of employers and employees critically and evaluate the market trend.

The Rojgar Mela which is being organized by the institute presently would eventually start catering to the pool of job seekers, it said. (KNN/ST)
