NIESBUD to expand its skill development training activities

New Delhi, Feb 23 (KNN) The National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) proposed to expand its training activities and to fulfil the Skill Development Mission under the Government of India.

The institute wishes to conduct skill development programmes in certain states in the country including Jharkhand, Bihar, New Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.

The stream of training are related to IT, retail, hotel , garment, light engineering and other related industries, it said.

In this regard, NIESBUD is inviting bids from placement agencies and industry partners in the mentioned states to join hands with the institute so that skilled manpower can be supplied to the relevant industry.

The selected agencies will have the responsibilities to provide industry and placement oriented training by visiting the ongoing training programmes. They will also guide the trainees regarding the industry’s requirement and expectations from them. (KNN/ST)
