NIESBUD to organise global summit on 'Make in India'

New Delhi, Feb 18 (KNN) The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is organising a global summit on ‘Make in India’ to bring together academicians, researchers, trained ITEC/SCAAP participants and experts from all over the world to interact and exchange views and discuss the major issues related with latest trends and insight in developing, improving and solving the human capital issues and challenges.

“The aim of the Global Summit 2015 is therefore, whilst appreciating that globalisation as transformative process of human resources into skilled capital to provide a broad platform to industry stalwarts, policy makers and HR practitioners nationally and internationally for debating and deliberating on HR driven strategies,” said a release.

‘Global Summit 2015 on Make in India: Transforming human resources and strategic development’ will be held on March 19 and 20, 2015 at NIESBUD campus in Noida.

It will offer unique in-depth approaches to understanding important workplace issues that affect an organisation’s viability in today’s fast paced business environment.

Sessions and panel discussions by distinguished policy makers from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, embassies, HR practitioners, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and other experts will be held during the two day programme.

Themes to be discussed in these sessions are - Strategic career progression: creating enterprising youth, Human resource development: Challenges and opportunities, Innovation leadership for organisation growth and excellence, Role of Social media and human resource development and Gender specific human resource development strategies.

In this regards, NIESBUD is inviting business leaders, professionals, HR practitioners, consultants, academicians, researchers and students to contribute papers related to the themes. (KNN/ST)
