NIESBUD to organise training programme for NGO functionaries

New Delhi, Sept 26 (KNN) The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is organising a training programme of trainers for NGO functionaries from September 28 to 30 in its Noida campus.

The programme will help NGO executives to make the people of the community equipped with entrepreneurial competence and foster livelihood promotion programs.

“We strongly believe in the probability factor that the NGO functionaries can emerge as effective facilitators and enable the people of the rural and suburban communities to become successful entrepreneurs and to earn a steady livelihood for themselves,” said NIESBUD in a statement.

The course content will cover the topic such as significance of Training in the present scenario; concept of adult learning and andragogy; David Kolbe’s experiential learning cycle; different types of adult learners; illustration of competency model; training need a; training designing techniques; instructional design; participatory training methodologies; and evaluation of training function through Kirkpatrick model and CIPP’s framework.

The programme will help the participants to achieve conceptual clarity regarding the intricacies of training functions; to promote experiential learning through participatory methodologies; and to execute qualitative appraisal of training functions.

Besides, the participating organisations will be transformed into resource development organisations. The certified trainers will be able to conduct the EDP and managerial training programs and will be able to contribute immensely towards the livelihood promotion of the underprivileged populace.
