Nitish Kumar discusses investment opportunities in textile sector in Bihar

Patna, July 23 (KNN) Textile investors discussed with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar the prospects of investment in Bihar.

Vice-President of Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) H K L Maggu has given detailed presentation before Nitish Kumar and discussed to set up new textile industries in the state, said an official release.

The investors also expressed keenness to invest money in textile trade in the state and Kumar, after a comprehensive discussion, assured all help to them.

Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, Development Commissioner Shishir Sinha, Principal Secretary Industries S Siddarth and Chief Minister's Secretary Atish Chandra were present at the meeting.

Besides Maggu, the investors included Chairman of Shahi Export Private Limited Harish Ahuja and Managing Director of Richa and Company Birendra Uppal. (KNN Bureau)
