Noida entrepreneurs stage hunger strike today against power crisis

Noida, Jul 23 (KNN) Reeling under acute power shortage and increasing power tariff in the state, Noida entrepreneurs are on hunger strike today.
The Noida Entrepreneurs Association (NEA) has been raising concerns over the unannounced and prolongs power cuts affecting the industrial production.
Following hours of power cuts in industrial sectors of Noida hampering industrial output, the association had held an emergency meeting last week to discuss the issue.
The NEA had set the deadline of 16 June on Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) to set on course power supply to industries.
NEA had given the proposal in which power cuts ranging between 6am to 8am and 7am to 9am have been demanded only in urgent need. (KNN Bureau)
