Odisha MSMEs seek support from State Govt for creating marketing avenues for their produce

Bhubaneswar, Apr 17 (KNN) Entrepreneurs in the state have urged state MSME minister Capt. Dibya Sankar Mishra to create more marketing facilities for their products through the Government agencies.   

During a review meeting on the activities of Directorate of Export Promotion and Marketing on Friday, the entrepreneurs thanked the state MSME department for their support and services and marketing their products both in domestic and International sphere.

Mishra assured that he will discuss the matter with the other Departments regarding the promotion of their products.

The MSME minister further also suggested that an exhibition may be organized for product manufactured by MSMEs of the State inviting buyers both from domestic and overseas countries to avail better marketing opportunity.

The Minister also asked the units to manufacture good quality products and advised to make use of technology in export promotion.

The review meeting was attended by Director of Industries, Odisha, Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary to Government, MSME Department and the senior officers of Directorate of EP&M, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
