New Delhi, Dec 22 (KNN) In the last three years, one MSMEs has been provided grants for grant of patent, Minister of State for MSME Giriraj Singh informed the Parliament.

In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, the Minister said, “…thirty one (31) Intellectual Property Facilitation Centres (IPFCs) for MSME Sector have been set up in the country to facilitate MSMEs.”

The Ministry of MSME has been implementing a scheme “Building Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs)” for MSMEs, to enhance the competitiveness of the sector, under the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme (NMCP). (KNN Bureau)
