The Expo is being held at Bharat Mandapam from 16 to 20 February 2026.
The participation of these startups has been facilitated by WaveX, the dedicated accelerator platform under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s WAVES initiative.
The WAVES Creators Corner is designed as a platform for emerging enterprises to showcase AI-driven media solutions, immersive storytelling formats, gaming technologies, virtual production tools and next-generation content systems to industry leaders, policymakers, investors and global stakeholders.
The selected cohort represents a broad spectrum of India’s expanding AVGC-XR landscape. Innovations on display include AI-enabled animation pipelines, real-time rendering engines, immersive extended reality (XR) experiences and gamified learning platforms.
Collectively, these solutions illustrate the expanding role of artificial intelligence in transforming content creation, distribution and audience engagement.
At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, the Creators Corner will feature several interactive demonstrations under the theme “Ideas for India AI.” These include a “Zero-Touch Autonomous Newsroom” capable of converting live event feeds into multilingual breaking news bulletins in Hindi, English and Tamil without manual intervention, and the “Bhasha-Wall,” a large-format video grid showcasing real-time lip-synced dubbing across eight Indian languages alongside an AI-powered sign language avatar.
Visitors will also be able to engage with immersive experiences such as “Samvad Setu,” enabling simulated conversations with historical figures; “The Director’s Chair,” which allows voice-command alterations to film scenes; and “Swar Sangam,” an AI-based music composition tool for rapid anthem generation.
Additional features include an AI-enabled multilingual podcast studio, a conversational humanoid robot and a voice cloning station that demonstrates cross-lingual speech synthesis.
Startups that emerged as winners of the Bhashasetu and Kalaasetu Challenges will also exhibit their solutions at the Expo. These ventures, recognised for advancements in language technologies and cultural-tech applications, will present AI-driven tools aimed at enhancing linguistic accessibility, preserving cultural heritage and expanding the reach of Indian creative content.
