AIPMA & CPMA Announce Global Conclave On Plastics Recycling In July

New Delhi, Jun 17 (KNN) The All India Plastic Manufacturers' Association (AIPMA) and the Chemicals and Petrochemicals Manufacturers' Association (CPMA) are set to host the Global Conclave on Plastics Recycling and Sustainability (GCRPS), an exhibition focused on recycling technologies, sustainable alternatives, and waste management solutions for the plastics industry.

The event will take place from July 4 to 7, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

As the plastics sector continues to expand, GCRPS aims to highlight cutting-edge recycling methods, biodegradable and compostable plastic alternatives, and efficient waste management strategies to address the challenges posed by this growth.

The conclave has received endorsements from several central government ministries and departments, underscoring its significance in tackling pressing sustainability concerns.

These endorsements come from the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, the Department of Commerce under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, the Make in India initiative, and the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET).

In addition to the exhibition, GCRPS will feature a CEO roundtable on July 4 and panel discussions on July 5 and 6.

These discussions will explore the future of recycled plastics in industries such as automobiles, electronics, and pharmaceuticals, fostering collaboration across the value chain and addressing industry expectations from the plastic recycling sector.

The exhibition is expected to attract a diverse array of participants, including plastic recyclers, machinery manufacturers, waste solution providers, recyclate traders, bio-polymer and compostable producers, raw material suppliers, innovative start-ups, and experts in testing and standardisation from across India.

GCRPS highlights the Indian government's commitment to sustainable practices and regulatory enforcement, paving the way for the adoption of ground-breaking technologies in various sectors.

Visitors interested in attending GCRPS can register through the dedicated visitor registration link: https://register.gcprs.org/Visitor/Visitor_Registration.aspx.

Companies or organisations seeking to exhibit at the conclave can register as exhibitors by visiting https://gcprs.org/contact/?opt=exhibitor.
