Croda India eyes opportunities in pharma and crop care industries through new plant at Dahej

Dahej, Mar 31 (KNN) Croda India has announced that it will set up a new production plant in Dahej, Gujarat and will invest Rs 500 crore in the first phase of construction.
It is a manufacturer of speciality chemicals and a subsidiary of the UK-based Croda International Plc.
The new facility will enable Croda India to increase its production capacity to cater to the growing demand for its consumer care products in the region, as well as the increasing opportunities in the pharma and crop care industries.
It aims to expand the company’s manufacturing presence in Asia to meet the fast-growing demand.
The facility will also provide advanced and sustainable solutions to its customers.
Murali Duvvuri, Managing Director of Croda India, said, “This investment at Dahej is a demonstration of our commitment to the Indian market and a recognition of its immense potential for growth.”
Croda International has been operating in India for more than two decades, with a manufacturing and innovation center in Navi Mumbai and offices in Ahmedabad. (KNN Bureau)
