Govt Extends Deadline for Feedback on Draft Guidelines to Regulate Unsolicited Business Communication
New Delhi, Jul 25 (KNN) The Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, has announced a 15-day extension for submitting comments on the Draft Guidelines for the Prevention and Regulation of Unsolicited and Unwarranted Business Communication, 2024.
The new deadline is now set for August 5, 2024, pushed back from the original date of July 21, 2024.
This extension comes in response to numerous requests from various federations, associations, and stakeholders. The department has already received multiple suggestions and comments, which are currently under review.
Interested parties can submit their feedback via email to js-ca@nic.in. The draft guidelines, which aim to address growing concerns over unwanted commercial messages, are available for public access on the department's official website.
