International toy exhibition begins in Delhi today

New Delhi, July 8 (KNN) The Toy Association of India (TAI) is organising the 14th Toy Biz International B2B Expo at Pragati Maidan from July 8-11, 2023.

The toy association through this exhibition aims to showcase the competitive advantages of the Indian toy industry and promote the growth of the sector.

As many as 265 Indian manufacturers are participating in the fair. Over 6,500 domestic visitors and more than 100 international visitors from 24 countries will also attend the exhibition. 

As per reports, around 20 global sourcing companies, including Walmart and Lego, are expected to visit the exhibition.

Over 9,600 MSMEs are involved in the sector. Toy exports have increased by 61 per cent to USD 326.6 million in 2022 as against USD 202 million in 2019. 

India exports toys to over 100 countries including the USA, UK, Germany and Canada.
