KVIC launches multiple training programmes in Hubballi, Karnataka

Hubballi, Jan 21 (KNN) The Khadi and Village Industries Commission chairman, Manoj Kumar on Friday inaugurated various training programs  under the Village Industries Development Scheme in Hubballi.

The KVIC chairman also disbursed margin money to the PMEGP Units virtually.

As per reports, during a three day visit to the state, Kumar also released margin money subsidy of Rs 165 Crores to 5046 beneficiaries from the states of East & South zone with the total bank loan of Rs 488 crores for setting up of new micro enterprises under PMEGP scheme.

The Chairman visited CVPI, Khanpur a KVI training run by Khadi and Village Industries Commission during his visit to the state.

Earlier in the week, Kumar had distributed large number of Bee - boxes among the farmers of the Malavalli district.

Addressing the occasion, he said “At present, we are the fourth-largest producer of honey in the world but in the coming time, we want to become the number one producer of honey and for that, we are making all these attempts.”  (KNN Bureau)
