NCB, DTU Sign MoU to Boost Research and Skill Development in Cement Sector
New Delhi, Mar 31 (KNN) The National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Technological University (DTU) to strengthen research collaboration, skill development, and capacity building in India’s cement and construction sector.
The agreement aims to promote joint research and innovation in cement and concrete technologies, while creating training opportunities for students, professionals, and industry stakeholders.
It also seeks to enhance knowledge exchange between academia and industry, facilitating the dissemination of best practices and technical expertise.
As part of the collaboration, both institutions will work towards strengthening technical capabilities and fostering innovation-led growth in the construction ecosystem. The initiative is expected to contribute to the development of sustainable and resilient infrastructure across the country.
The MoU was signed by L. P. Singh, Director General of NCB, and Binod Doley, Registrar of DTU, in the presence of Vice Chancellor Prateek Sharma and other senior officials from both organisations at DTU, New Delhi.
