Union Budget 2025 Introduces Deep Tech Fund to Drive Innovation

New Delhi, Feb 1 (KNN) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the establishment of a Deep Tech fund during her Union Budget 2025 presentation. 

The initiative aims to foster innovation across both technical and non-technical domains, providing aspiring entrepreneurs with crucial financial support to transform their concepts into viable ventures.

The announcement reflects the government's continued commitment to strengthening India's position as a global innovation hub. 

By extending support to entrepreneurs regardless of their technical background, the Deep Tech fund represents a notable shift from traditional startup funding models that have historically favored technology-centric ventures.
