Over 200 exhibitors to showcase technical textile products at Technotex 2015

New Delhi, Dec 10 (KNN) More than 200 exhibitors will showcase their technical textile products in the next Technotex scheduled to be held from April-9 to 11, 2015 in Mumbai.
“Technotex 2015 will pool in participants, visitors and other key decision makers from a diverse cross section of the technical textile industry with a view to providing more innovative solutions, identifying new business opportunities and creating an environment congenial for growth,” said an official statement.
Technical’s textiles are textile materials and products used for their technical performance and functional properties. They are an important part of the textile industry and its potential is still largely untapped in India.
Exhibitors will include manufacturers of machinery for technical textile, technology providers, raw, material suppliers, textile chemical consultants, R&D companies and major textile institutions.
They will display technical textile products for various sectors like medical, transport, industrial, eco, geo, packaging, protective, sport, agro, construction and clothing.
The three day exhibition organised by Ministry of Textiles and FICCI is one of the focused exhibitions on technical textiles in India.
Its objectives are - to project the latest technological developments in technical textiles; to project the status, facilities and services on R&D, quality control, government regulations and controls, rules and procedures; to supply plant, machinery and equipment in technical textiles; to showcase the latest products, machinery and developments in the industry for generating business and test marketing; to adopt and upgrade technology; and to start joint venture, project collaborations, transfer of technology, investments and R&D.
Visitors’ profile includes various sections of business sectors like automotive, medical, health and personal care, packaging, sports gear, safety products, construction, oil and gas, defence, chemical industry, agriculture, food and beverages, logistics and warehousing companies, PSUs, soil seals, textile drainage systems and erosion prevention systems.
Technotex 2015 will provide the participants a platform to showcase their products and capabilities among the direct target audience, source new business contacts, increase sales, launch new products, enhance PR opportunities, create brand awareness, joint ventures, collaborations and investment opportunities and one-to-one business meetings and networking opportunities.
