NSDA has invited innovative proposals through wide publicity. The proposals received are vetted, with shortlisted proposal being placed before the Committee at its monthly meetings, which will be held on the third Wednesday of every month.

“Innovation can become a huge mobilizing factor in the skill development ecosystem of the country. This initiative will provide our youth with a platform to discuss new ideas that can be funded and implemented on the ground by the Government of India. These ideas will also give the added impetus to our ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India initiative’.”, said Ramadorai.

“We have received an over whelming response in terms of the number of entries, which is a reflection of the passion among the youth today. I am sure we will see some more fascinating ideas in the future as well.” he added.

Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Sunil Arora said the Skills Ministry is determined to encourage innovative ideas and modules in skill development landscape and at the same time assist the youth of the country in the skilling and entrepreneurial domain, so as to translate the vision of the Government into a concrete reality.
