Packaging institute to showcase at global exhibition

Mumbai, Apr 3 (KNN) With an objective to provide the country’s packaging industry a unique platform for effective packaging solutions, the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is organising an international packaging exhibition.

The 6th edition of Indiapack will be held here in October 2015.

The institute is expecting around 500 exhibitors with a footfall above 25,000 trade visitors and business delegates at the exhibition.  Indiapack, which is well reputed in the fraternity, is being organized at an interval of every two years.

IIP is a national apex body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry with the specific objective of improving the packaging standards needed for the promotion of exports and create infrastructural facilities for overall packaging improvement in the country.

It has a mission to update the infrastructural facilities to provide effective services to the industries.

To organise the event, IIP wants to appoint an exhibition management agency to manage the entire exhibition from planning to execution covering all aspects such as marketing, promotion, road shows all over India and abroad, space selling across the country and overseas with a strong presence of international exhibitors, execution and management.

In this context, it has invited bids from reputed organizations or agencies providing exhibition management and various services.  (KNN/ST)
