Plastivision India 2013 to feature special pavilion for solar energy

Mumbai, Dec 6 (KNN)  The 9th Plastivision India 2013 will have a special pavilion for solar energy, demonstrating its energy saving advantages.
 
Organised by All India Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA), Plastivision India 2013, the country’s largest plastic show will be held here from December-12 to 16.
 
“It is the first time we are showcasing the application of Solar Energy in the Plastic Processing Industry and how to avail of advantages of Solar in Plastic Processing.   It is probably the first time in the world where such a pavilion will be showcasing use of solar in running Plastic Auxiliary Equipment in Processing of Plastics, to save energy,” said Chairman – Executive Committee, Plastivision India 2013, Raju Desai.
 
“Basically, it’s about tapping and converting into, usually electric, power the free energy from the sun, wind, water currents, or subterranean heat.  Obviously, though, it takes equipment, and because of which, plastics and composites are coming into their own,” Desai added.
 
The event has been held at Mumbai at the interval of every three years. Over the years, Plastivision India has become a flagship event in India and is on the calendar of plastics industry worldwide.
 
Plastivision India 2013 would be the biggest in the series so far and would witness participation by over 1500 companies from India and 30 other countries.
 
The trade fair would be held across an area spanning nearly 70,000 sq. mt.  Over 100,000 businessmen and other key stakeholders are expected to visit the fair.   (KNN)
