PM to inaugurate Global Virtual Summit on Artificial Intelligence

New Delhi, Oct 3 (KNN) Aiming to drive India's vision for social transformation through responsible AI, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and NITI Aayog are organizing a Global Virtual Summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI), RAISE 2020- ‘Responsible AI for Social Empowerment 2020,’. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit on 5th October. All sessions of the event will be accessible free of cost.

RAISE 2020 is a virtual global summit on AI, begins from October 5th (Monday) and ends on October 9th (Friday). Sessions will be conducted between 8am to 9pm (IST) each day. The summit will be hosted online virtually, which can be accessed upon registration.

RAISE 2020 hosts an exciting line-up of leaders, policy designers, innovators and other diverse stakeholders, who contribute to the discourse on the potential of artificial intelligence for promoting public good across domains, such as health, education, mobility, agriculture etc.

The summit would be a global meeting of minds to exchange ideas and charter a course to use AI for social empowerment, inclusion, and transformation in key areas like Healthcare, Agriculture, Education and Smart Mobility among other sectors.

It will witness robust participation from global industry leaders, key opinion makers, Government representatives, and academia. The RAISE 2020 Summit will feature some of the most exciting start-ups working in Artificial Intelligence and related fields.
