Power2SME signs MoU with FTAPPCI to organise the 1st SME Transformation Camp in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept 10 (KNN) To mark its entry into the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Power2SME, the first ‘buying club’ for SMEs in India, collaborated with The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI), an industry body that promotes and protects the interests of trade, commerce and industry in the region to address their large member base around the company’s value offerings.

Power2SME signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) FTAPCCI which was signed by Ms Sudha Sarin, VP marketing- Power2SME and Arun Luharuka, President, FTAPCCI in the presence of dignitaries from state and local government bodies at the ‘SME Transformation Camp’ event jointly organised by Power2SME and FTAPCCI in Hyderabad.

R.B. Devanand, Additional Director, C/o Commissionerate of Industries, Government of Telangana, graced the event with his presence and addressed the session.

As part of this collaboration, Power2SME and FTAPCCI educated the MSMEs present at the event on the significance of adopting technology in order to address key operational issues like raw material procurement, working capital requirement, manufacturing excellence amongst others.

Special sessions were also held by representatives from SIDBI, Power2SME and FTAPCCI, addressing Power2SME’s brand offerings and how they counter challenges posed to the SME sector, raw, and the importance of SME visibility and credibility for overall country development. 

With an aim to transform their businesses and provide them with a competitive edge, the SME Transformation Camp discussed solutions for the hurdles faced by SMEs that may hamper their businesses and impede growth.

The alliance aims to connect with the large base of MSMEs in the region and conduct a series of events throughout the year. The initiative received tremendous response with over 80 MSMEs participating in the event.

Keeping in line with the focused approach of the government to promote MSMEs, Power2SME chose Hyderabad to mark its entry in the region and guide MSMEs with a host of solutions to flourish in the dynamic business environment.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudha Sarin, Vice President, Marketing and Communications, Power2SME said “As we commence our operations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, we seek to work collectively with MSMEs in the region to help them enhance their performance and profitability while simultaneously addressing challenges that hamper their operations. With a robust focus on expediting the growth of the MSME sector in the region, the comprehensive solutions offered by Power2SME will cater to procuring & sourcing raw material and providing financial aid & MRO services.”

Arun Luharuka, President, The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI) said, “We are glad to partner with Power2SME to bolster the operations of MSMEs in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This association will benefit the large number of MSMEs present in the region to help augment their growth. Companies like Power2SME help these enterprises enhance operations and boost confidence & business performance. We encourage more and more SMEs in the state to take part in the initiative being undertaken and gain from the knowledge and expertise exhibited in the SME Transformation Camps being organised.
