Pranab Mukherjee to present Niryat Shree & Niryat Bandhu Awards to MSME exporters

New Delhi, May 3 (KNN) With the view to motivate the MSME exporters, President Pranab Mukherjee will attend the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) tomorrow and present Niryat Shree and Niryat Bandhu Awards to exporters.

The Niryat Shree and Niryat Bandhu Awards were instituted in the year 1995-96 with the aim to motivate exporters by the FIEO which has around 22000 members representing predominantly the MSME sector.

These members contribute to over 65 % of country’s exports. 

Awards would be presented to outstanding Exporters, Service Providers, Best performing Banks and Export Promotion Organisations, contributing maximum foreign exchange to the country’s Forex reserves.

Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry (Independent Charge), Commerce Secretary, Rita Teaotia and DGFT, Anup Wadhawan will also be present at the occasion and address the Award Winners. (KNN Bureau)
