Pvt labs allowed to test effluent samples of Haryana industries

Chandigarh, Jun 28 (KNN) Industrial units and projects in Haryana can now get their trade effluent samples tested by some of the well-known laboratories in the private sector like Shree Ram Institute for Industrial Research. 

"The Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) has recognised the private laboratories of Shree Ram Institute for Industrial Research and International Testing Central for testing of trade effluent samples under section 17 (2) Water (Prevention and Control of pollution), Act 1974 and air emission samples under section 17 (2) Air (Prevention and Control of pollution), Act 1981 and Avon Food Lab under Water Act only UPTO March 31, 2015," HSPCB said in a notification.

The move will help a large number of industries in getting their trade effluent samples tested.

The laboratories have NABL Accreditation, recognition from MoEF and certification under ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001.

The laboratories have sophisticated instrument for testing of all heavy metals and various pesticides with qualified scientific manpower. (KNN Bureau)
