Vellore, Jan 30 (KNN)  Vellore Energy Technologies Company Private Limited has organised a buyer seller meet for engineering products on January-31 near Ranipet which will be attended by about 250 micro units in the area.

Vellore Energy Technologies (VET) is a special purpose vehicle, approved by the Government of India through the MSME Development Institute, under the State Vendor Development Programme to explore the possibility of getting orders for micro units.

According to VET Managing Director, Raghunathan, about 250 sellers are expected to attend the event at the common facility centre in Thenpalli Village near Ranipet tomorrow.

“The event would provide a common platform for micro cadres to meet their buyers.  Not only would it help them increase production and quality, it would also help them market their products effectively,” Raghunathan told KNN.

Among the buyers who will be present are the Railways, Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

As far as VET is concerned, they cannot take direct orders; they can only help micro units to explore the possibility of getting orders and execute them at the common facility centre.

“We help the units with available machinery to execute their orders.  We have about 24 machinery items such as rolling machines, hydraulic press, plate rolling, steering, etc,” he said.  (KNN/ES)
