Rashtrapati Bhavan Curio Shop to sell new range of souvenirs

New Delhi, July 4 (KNN) A new range of custom made souvenirs designed for the Rashtrapati Bhavan, which include note books, photo frames, fridge magnets, magnetic bookmarks, badges and miscellaneous stationery will be available for sale from tomorrow. 

“A new range of custom made souvenirs specially designed for the Rashtrapati Bhavan will be available for sale from July 5, 2013 in the Curio Shop,” said an official statement today.

Moreover, each of the souvenirs showcase elements of the interiors and architecture of the Rashtrapati Bhavan and carry an introductory note.

They highlight the dramatic murals, intricate ceilings, stone jallies and striking inlay work on the floors of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

It will reveal the beauty of the Rashtrapati Bhavan where indigenous motifs and craftsmanship is blended with wider stylistic influences.

The Curio Shop is open from 0900 to 1700 hours every Friday, Saturday and Sunday when the Rashtrapati Bhavan is open for public tours. (KNN)
