Ravinder Kumar Passi takes charge as EPCH Chairman
New Delhi, Apr 18 (KNN) Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) has elected Ravinder Kumar Passi, Vice-Chairman-EPCH as new Chairman during 164th meeting of Committee of Administration (COA).
He is associated with EPCH since its inception and has served EPCH as its Chairman during 2001 and 2002. He is very actively involved in various trade bodies.
The information was given by Rakesh Kumar, Director General – EPCH.
Passi has taken charge from O P Prahladka. He was elected as a Chairman in May 30, 2017.
All members of Committee of Administration were present during the meeting.
EPCH is a non-profit organization, with an object to promote, support, protect, maintain and increase the export of handicrafts.
It is an apex body of handicrafts exporters for promotion of exports of handicrafts from country and projecting India's image abroad as a reliable supplier of high quality of handicrafts goods and services and ensured various measures keeping in view of observance of international standards and specification.
The Council has created necessary infrastructure as well as marketing and information facilities, which are availed both by the member’s exporters and importers. (KNN/JM)
