Seminar on Plastics and Chemical Industries to connect local and national players

New Delhi, Aug 20 (KNN) A Seminar on Plastics and Chemical Industries in Vidarbha Region of Maharashtra will be held on August 21, 2015 from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM at Nagpur. The aim of the seminar is to promote Vidarbha as an Investment destination, highlight government initiatives, connect local entrepreneurs and national players and create an interaction forum with the industry and attract start-up Entrepreneurs in the sunrise Sector. 


Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of shipping, Road Transport and Highways, and Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers will attend the Seminar.
 
Subhash Rajaram Desai, Ministry of Industries, Government of Maharashtra, Chandrashekar Bawankule, Minister for Energy and New and Renewable Energy, Government of Maharashtra, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India, other senior officers of the Government of India and Maharashtra, and representatives of Plastics and Chemicals Industries of Vidarbha Region will also take part. 


In the Seminar, main thrusts will be on the role of Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET) in Galvanizing Plastics Industries, Role of Government of India for promoting Plastic and Chemical Industries and Expectation of Vidarbha for developing value added/engineering products in Plastics and Chemicals. 


Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Union Minister of shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, and the union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers will also visit Maharashtra Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Nagpur and explore the possibilities of revival of this Company.  (KNN Bureau)
