Chennai, Aug 13 (KNN) Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) has announced contest for start-ups from the southern region of the country.

The start-ups will be from five categories (agriculture technology, energy, healthcare, water, and waste management).

Talking to the KNN, an official of SICCI said, “Creating a Sustainable Environment’, is the theme which has been kept. It is mandatory that the participating startups should be at least 3 to 5 years old. This contest is open for the start-ups from the southern region of the country."

The last date of registration is August 22, 2019 for the contest and the main event will be held on September 6, 2019. To register the desiring startups can visit the chamber's website on or before the fixed deadline, 22 August. In addition to this, no registration fee is required to participate in the contest.

The official further said, “Various parameters have been fixed to test the startups and declare winner out of them. The winners will get a chance to showcase their work in front of various chambers and industrialists.”
