Skills 2017 International Conference to be held in Telengana, call for proposals open

New Delhi, Oct 9 (KNN) Eyeing at addressing the challenges with regard to Digital India for rural empowerment, The Skills 2017 International conference is scheduled for November in Telengana.

The Conference will take place on 16th and 17th of November this year under the theme ‘Life Skills and Livelihood Skills- Leveraging Digital India for Rural Empowerment. The conference is inviting abstracts; interested participants may apply before 15th October via conference’s official website : http://www.skills2017.org/

The prime focus of the conference is to identify and debate the opportunities and challenges associated with leveraging Digital India for creating life and livelihood skills that could facilitate rural income.

Also the conference aims to propose initiatives for central, state and local government policies and programs in order to achieve overall economic growth.

The program further targets to engage corporations, NGOs and social and business entrepreneurs to create long term demonstration projects, commercial models, products, programs and services necessary to accelerate Digital India for sustainable rural economies.

The two day conference will have different thematic sessions including sessions on digital agriculture, digital education and digital infrastructure.

Also there will be dedicated session on exploring the status of financial inclusion and the critical challenges the country in this regard.
