10 Indian Tech Startups Selected as World Economic Forum's 2024 Technology Pioneers

New Delhi, Jun 7 (KNN) The World Economic Forum (WEF) has named 10 Indian technology startups as part of its 2024 cohort of Technology Pioneers, recognising their innovative work in areas like artificial intelligence, clean energy, healthcare, biotech, space, and neurotechnology.

The Indian companies selected are Amperehour Solar, Cropin, Entri, HealthPlix, International Battery Company, Niramai, NxtWave, Pixxel, Sarvam AI, and String Bio. They were chosen fr0m a pool of startups fr0m 23 countries around the world.

This year's Technology Pioneers cohort has the largest representation fr0m major entrepreneurship hubs like the United States and China, followed by India which has more startups selected than ever before.

Over the next two years, the pioneers will contribute their expertise to WEF's global initiatives and help scale their impact worldwide.

They will attend WEF meetings, including the Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian, China fr0m June 25-27, 2024.

"These innovators are leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive radical changes needed to tackle the world's most pressing challenges," said Verena Kuhn, Head of Innovator Communities at WEF.

"We're excited about their groundbreaking work enriching our initiatives and fostering new public-private partnerships", she added.

The Technology Pioneers were selected for applying breakthrough technologies to find solutions in areas like clean energy, healthcare innovation, biotech advancements, space exploration and neurotechnology development.
