DPIIT Partners With Investment Firms To Boost Indian Startup Ecosystem
New Delhi, Feb 14 (KNN) The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has entered into a strategic partnership with Rukam Capital and Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation.
The collaboration, announced on Monday through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to foster comprehensive growth of product startups and innovators across India.
The initiative will provide startups with essential resources including infrastructure support, mentorship networks, funding channels, and market connectivity opportunities.
A key focus of the partnership involves guiding entrepreneurs through critical development phases, from prototype creation to international market expansion, supported by an extensive knowledge repository.
Sanjiv, Joint Secretary, DPIIT, emphasised the partnership's strategic importance, stating that the collaboration seeks to establish a robust foundation for product startups in India.
He highlighted how the combination of industry expertise, capital resources, and strategic mentorship would create an environment conducive to transforming innovative ideas into market-ready solutions, ultimately contributing to India's economic advancement and global competitiveness.
The partnership has already gained momentum, with both Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation and Rukam Capital committing to establish specialised programs for nurturing product startups.
Archana Jahagirdar, Founder and Managing Partner, Rukam Capital, described the collaboration as a pivotal development in strengthening India's startup ecosystem, emphasising their commitment to providing entrepreneurs with comprehensive support for innovation and scaling their ventures.
