DPIIT Signs MoUs with PhonePe, Shell India to Boost Startup Growth

New Delhi, Aug 21 (KNN) The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has signed separate MoUs with PhonePe and Shell India Pvt. Ltd. to support DPIIT-recognised startups through technology access, mentorship, market linkages and industry networks.

Under the partnership with PhonePe, startups will receive benefits including transaction credits through its payment gateway, access to the Indus AppStore, onboarding support and opportunities for brand visibility. 

The company will also conduct masterclasses and webinars on fintech, sales, go-to-market strategies and business scaling.

The MoU with Shell India will focus on startups in the energy and climate-tech sectors. 

Shell will provide mentorship, strategic guidance, investor and incubator connections, and opportunities to participate in the Shell E4 Smart Energy Track.

The partnership will also support knowledge-sharing through sectoral reports, policy briefs, case studies and other research focused on innovation in the energy and climate-tech ecosystem.
