PM Modi to champion for enhancing startup economy in Eurasian region at SCO Summit tomorrow

New Delhi, July 3 (KNN) Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit will put special emphasis on promoting Startup culture in the Eurasian Region.

The SCO summit that will take place on July 4 will advocate for sharing best practices from the Indian Startup sector to promote innovation and business in the region.

Ahead of the summit, India organised a meeting of SCO Startup Forum, which has essentially been an Indian initiative since 2020. 

The forum aimed to expand startup interactions among the SCO member states and encourage innovation, employment generation, and talent building, an official said.

The event was organised by Startup India, the Department of Promotion for Industry and Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce.

The SCO summit will be attended by the heads of Russia, Belarus, China, Pakistan and Central Asian countries.  (KNN Bureau)
