Start-up Odisha Completes First Cohort of Pre-Incubation Program

New Delhi, July 11 (KNN) Start-up Odisha, an initiative by the MSME Department of the Odisha Government announced the completion of its inaugural pre-incubation program, which was designed to provide emerging entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge to build successful ventures.

"A registration of 62 aspiring entrepreneurs kicked off the program, with 23 of these participants triumphing in the demanding training and mentorship regimen. Nine of these talented individuals presented their innovative ideas, three of whom have been selected to receive support fr0m Start-up Odisha to drive their ventures to greater heights," the organization said in a statement.

Start-up Odisha also announced its strategic collaborations with Technolplat Ltd, Wadhwani Foundation, and Her Money Talks. These partnerships are aimed at enhancing the start-up ecosystem in Odisha by leveraging the expertise, global networks, and access to capital offered by these esteemed organizations.

Additionally, it also signed the MoU with its partners to encourage knowledge exchange and mentoring programs and pave the way for funding opportunities and international exposure for the chosen start-ups.

The start-up body claims to have supported extensive range of over 1600 registered start-ups, with more than 600 of these being led by women.

Omkar Rai, the Executive Chairman of Start-up Odisha, said, "We are delighted to join forces with Technolplat Ltd, Wadhwani Foundation, and Her Money Talks. These partnerships will foster an environment of innovation and provide invaluable support to our budding entrepreneurs.”
