Three-Day Surat Start-Up Summit To Kick Off Tomorrow

Surat, Oct 26 (KNN) The Surat Start-up Summit which is being organised by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) is all set to take place in the city from October 27-29.

The three-day event aims to invigorate the startup ecosystem in Surat and kindle the entrepreneurial spirit within the city while also fostering connections between established businesses and budding startups.

As per reports, Gujarat’s Home Minister, Harsh Sanghavi will inaugurate the event at the Platinum Hall within the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC).

Over 50 startups are set to participate in the summit.Around 70 per cent of those belong from Surat. The startup participants span a wide array of industries, from solar energy and software technology to women’s health, diamond, and architecture and interior designing. 

Around 50 venture capital managers from across the country will address startups and young entrepreneurs during the three-day event. Additionally, the summit is expected to attract nearly 1,000 businessmen. 

During the inaugural ceremony, Banchanadi Pani (IAS), Commissioner of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat, and Hiranmay Mahanta, CEO of Gujarat Start-Up and Innovation Hub (I-Hub), will also be present.
