Strike to affect Banking services from March 26-29

New Delhi, Mar 24 (KNN) The banking services from 26-29 March, 2022 is likely to be affected as the bank union has called for a two day strike on 28-29 March, which falls right after the weekend official holidays.

State Bank of India (SBI) has notified about the strike which was announced by the Indian Banks Association (IBA).

The country's largest bank SBI has given this information. Banking services may be affected due to the strike of bank union

Bank customers are settling their bank related work as the banks will only function for four days this month.

The strike is called against the privatization of public sector banks and the Bank Law Amendment Bill-2021.

All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) and All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA) have also issued a notice announcing a nationwide strike.

The banks are also demanded to include 5-day week, child care leaves, scrapping of National Pension System and restoration of old pension scheme, and removal of anomaly in dearness allowance between the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and banks. (KNN Bureau)
