Super speciality hospital in Uttarakhand industrial estate

Dehradun, Jun 27 (KNN) The Uttarakhand Government plans to rope in the private sector for building a super speciality hospital in the Integrated Industrial Estate (IIE) Sitarganj.

The state has attracted more than Rs 2000 crores of investment and created opportunities of employment for over one lakh people in the industrial area, an official notification said.

The multi-speciality hospital which will cover 5.0 acres of land area is a project taken up by the state government and the State Infrastructure and Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd (SIIDCUL) under the mega industrial policy.

IIE Sitarganj has an area of approximately 1100 acres which has been developed by the SIIDCUL in the name of ESIPL. This industrial estate has been developed on PPP Mode.

In this context, SIIDCUL is inviting bids from individuals and firms with the experience of running 100 bedded hospitals for the last five years to be service provider.

IIE Sitarganj is a preferred destination for many investors both large or small scale due to its location advantage, good connectivity and world class infrastructure.

The corporation is developing an area of approximately 1700 acres adjacent to ESIPL in the name of IIE SIIDCUL Phase II in which all types of industries like FMCG, cosmetics, agro and food, herbal and drug, IT and ITES and electronics are present. The plot size for industries is ranging from 500 Sq m minimum and above. (KNN/ST)
