T-Hub NITI Aayog to organize national Hackathon

New Delhi, Oct 27 (KNN) T-Hub a startup incubator firm in collaboration with NITI Aayog announced the launch of Hackathon – Hack2Innovate to facilitate innovation in the IT Startups.

Samsung along PwC are also partnering for the event.

The hackathon will be conducted in different cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Jaipur and Guwahati.

The prime aim of the program is to  promote deep technology revolution in India, T-Hub in a press release said.

The hackathon will focus on advanced fields like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cognitive and Neural Language processing and Computer Vision which are transforming the structure Information Technology (IT)  in India.

Srinivas Kollipara, Founder and COO, T-Hub said that India has a significant talent pool of deep-tech enthusiasts and the hackathon will be a platform for them to demonstrate their exceptional skills.

Aloknath De, Chief Technology Officer of Samsung R&D Institute India said that Samsung   work cohesively with hundreds of start-ups in India through technology licensing and framework of partnerships and always encourages these kind of deep technology hackathons.

The winners of the competition will receive combined prize money worth up to 10 lakhs INR, along with GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, a high-end graphics card by NVIDIA. 

Also the winning participants will be given opportunity to work closely with Innovation team of Samsung & PwC (KNN/AG)
